In May of 2007, Linda Bishop Johnson made a testamentary gift of 25 acres in Lee County, Mississippi, to be included in the Bulldog Forest. This tract of land has been held in the family for generations and was used for many years to cultivate cotton and other row crops. The site is now in pine production and future proceeds will be used to create the Boxx-Bishop-Johnson Scholarship for support of the Pre-Veterinary Program at Mississippi State University. Linda Johnson, and her husband James, have been great supporters of the College of Veterinary Medicine through the years.
