Internships | Professional Experience
Faculty encourage students to work as interns with participating industries during the summer months. Internships provide students with practical experience before graduating. Students participate in internship programs at production facilities and at corporate research centers. As more undergraduate students become interested in interning, faculty strive to locate opportunities within the industry for them.
The Forest Products Department hires students enrolled in the forest products program to work part-time. Students gain hands-on experience in their area of study while working along side faculty and staff.
