The Wildlife Society (TWS) student chapters host regional conclaves each year to provide college students with valuable hands-on training in wildlife management and conservation. Activities include field trips, field competitions, game-calling competitions, quiz bowl, art and photography contests, guest speakers, and many opportunities for professional development. The Southeastern Wildlife Conclave promotes networking and cooperation among students, faculty, and wildlife professionals while developing new knowledge and skills.

Each school can bring a total of 20 attendees with that including 19 students and 1 advisor. Let us know if you have any questions.

  • Team Competition (30%)
  • Quiz Bowl (25%)
  • Art (15%) – landscape photography, digitally enhanced photography, non-manipulated photography, trail-cam photography, free-form, painting, drawing, poetry, field photography, wildlife calling
  • Physical (15%) – archery, shotgun, riflery, obstacle course, canoeing, fly casting
  • Intellectual Competitions (15%) – radio-telemetry, dendrology, orienteering, lab practical, essay
